Darren Michaels born in southernmost Arkansas, Darren currently resides in Clarksville, Tennessee, with his lovely wife Allie, their beautiful daughter Matilda, and their dog, Stella. His plays have been across the country from Nashville, Tennessee to New York City. Currently on faculty at Austin Peay State University, Darren is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild, the Southeastern Theatre Conference and former president of the Tennessee Theatre Association. His full-length play Scarecrows Will Never See A Sunset is published through Steele Springs Stage Rights in Los Angeles, California. Just this Fall, Darren’s latest work Brief Encounters, a collection of short plays, was released by Waveland Press. Brooke Larkin (Bun Bun) is happy to be back on Weathervane’s stage as Bun Bun in Bun Bun and Honkers. She was last seen at Weathervane as Nancy Montgomery in Alias Grace. Favorite roles include Esmerelda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Claire in Ordinary Days, Ali in Mamma Mia!, Rosie in Cabaret, and Marcy in I Love You Because. Brooke joined Weathervane’s staff in May as the Coordinator of Volunteers. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Psychology. She is so happy to be able to share the stage with her husband, Joshua Larkin, and to have the opportunity to indulge with him in their shared passion for theatre while simultaneously raising the love of her life, her son, Ronan.
