THE FUNERAL

John David Brown (Playwright) is a playwright based out of Atlanta. Originally from the Florida Panhandle, he studied creative writing at the University of West Florida and worked with theaters, schools, and community organizations across the region as a writer, actor, director, and educator. Recently, his short play Love was performed by the John DeSotelle Studio in New York City, and his audioplay Fun was recorded for the Theatrical Shenanigans podcast. Currently, he's developing multiple projects with the Peppertown Players, a theatre company he co-founded in his hometown of Bonifay, Florida.

Meghan Barylak (Jeannie) is delighted to return to the Weathervane family for the second time after appearing in the ensemble of The Play That Goes Wrong. Aside from her appearance in TPTGW, she was seen most recently in Small Town Monsters’ feature film Bloodlines: The Jersey Devil Curse as the Leeds’ Midwife and at Geagua Center for the Arts’ Almost, Maine. Her most recent costume designs were for Broadview Heights Spotlights in the disco musical parody Disaster! and the inspiring Silent Sky, based on the lives of the ground-breaking female astronomers of Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s. xxx
