Tong Xu is thrilled to be part of the amazing production team of Sister Act as Michelle and ensemble at Weathervane Playhouse. Tong graduated from Beijing Film Academy majoring in Sound Production for Film. she played multiple supporting roles in a well-known Chinese drama called The VI Group of Fatal Case. In 2022 Tong’s Weathervane journey began with the role Sandra in Waiting as one of the 8x10 TheatreFest productions, continued by Mrs. White in Clue and JoJo in Disney’s Newsies. Off stage, Tong enjoys leading her cardio dance classes as a fitness instructor and being a medical interpreter. She is also a vocalist and pianist for a local folk rock band called hand+noise. Tong wants to thank her family and friends for all their love and support.
