GARY DAVIS
Mr. Price

is the husband of long time Weathervane lighting designer, volunteer and four time Chanticleer winner Susan Davis. Weathervane’s 2018 summer production of Into the Woods brought him out of his long retirement from the stage, which started with the birth of their children. Numerous roles followed quickly among them The Hunchback of Notre Dame in which he got so into his role that he (literally) lost his head, Diary of Anne Frank, the 2019 8x10 Theaterfest and Memphis, and he shared his vocal talent as a tenor in Weathervane’s A Little Night Music. Gary has also performed with Cleveland Opera (Aida, Carousel, Cavalleria Rusticana and the world premiere of Stewart Copeland’s Holy Blood & Crescent Moon), the Cleveland Orchestra and Akron Symphony Choruses, University of Akron’s Opera Workshop (Mozart’s Magic Flute and The Fantasticks) and more Stow Players productions than he can remember.
