RONALD HAZELETT
Vocal Coach/Rehearsal Pianist

a powerful Basso with a rich, yet incisive tone, has captivated audiences with a wide range of musical styles and characterizations for over 30 years. He has appeared with the National Light Opera Company, The Ohio Light Opera, Cleveland Opera Theatre, Carousel Dinner Theatre, and Kenley Players. As a soloist Ron has been featured with The Spoleto Festival Orchestra, The Huntington Chamber Orchestra, The Cleveland Chamber Choir, The Canton Symphony, The Akron Symphony and The Cleveland Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance from Kent State University, and a Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Marshall University. As Music Director Ron has directed with Wright State University’s Music Theatre program, Goodyear Community Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse, Stow Players, Brecksville Little Theatre, Reach Out And Dance, The Elizabethtown College School Touring Program, and Music Director for the University Of Mt. Union’s Music Theatre Program. He currently teaches private voice at The West Side Vocal Academy, and is the Music Director for ArtSparks.
