Melanie YC Pepe is thrilled to direct Jersey Boys as part of Weathervane Playhouse's 90th season. As the Executive Artistic Director of Weathervane, Melanie has dedicated over 20 years to shaping the theater's artistic vision. A proud graduate of Kent State University with a BFA in Theatre and a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), Melanie has directed numerous productions, including Something Rotten!, Matilda The Musical, Kinky Boots, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Jesus Christ Superstar, Into the Woods, and Doubt, among others. She extends her heartfelt gratitude to Kevin, for his unwavering support and creative insight; Ron and Chris, for bringing the iconic Jersey Boys sound to life with his exceptional talent; and Marissa, whose vibrant and dynamic choreography has enriched this production and many others. Melanie is profoundly grateful to collaborate with such a talented and dedicated team. Directing Jersey Boys has been a labor of love, and Melanie thanks the cast, crew, and audiences for joining Weathervane in celebrating the timeless music and extraordinary story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
