Tenor Elijah Garrett, native of Paducah, KY is a Junior at the University of Kentucky where he studies vocal performance under the pedagogy of Dr. Angelique Clay. He is a 2020 AllTech voice competition scholar at UK. Elijah was heard singing the Act 1 Finale duet of Kurt Weill’s opera Street Scene for the University of Kentucky Opera Workshop “Encounters” scene production. He has performed the role of Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd at Red River Lyric Opera and covered the role of Don Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro.
