Welcome
Allentown Symphony
Dear Patrons,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 season of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra and Miller Symphony Hall!

The last 18 months have proven how much we all need live music regardless of the news of the day. With important safety measures in place, we were thrilled this past summer to return to live performances and look forward to what is ahead in the fall.

Over the next several months, a wide variety of music and performers will grace the stage of our 122-year-old theater. From the world of Jazz: rising stars Peter & Will Anderson and Lehigh Valley favorite Gene Perla; Met Opera productions of Boris Godunov and the world-premiere of Terrence Blanchard’s Fire Shut Up In My Bones; and the 71st season of the great Allentown Symphony Orchestra: music of Beethoven, Brahms and...Elvis! The concert experience will be much as you have cherished over the years with just a few temporary measures that will hopefully be eased as the season progresses.

There is much to be grateful for and it is important to acknowledge you – our ticket holders, subscribers, and donors – for all that you have done over the last year and a half for the Allentown Symphony. From purchasing Miller Symphony Hall @ Home internet streams to continued philanthropic contributions and ticket donations, we are still here today because you have made it happen. On behalf of Music Director & Conductor Diane Wittry, Associate/Pops Conductor Ronald Demkee, Board President Ibolya Balog, and the entire organization, thank you for your support and enthusiasm.

 Enjoy the performance!
