HAMPTON ARTS EDUCATION is committed to providing inspiring performing and visual art classes, camps, workshops and cultural events that allow each participant to own a part of the creative process. Our mission to do more, try more, and be more provides a framework for shaping individual artistic expression. Through the arts, we share and celebrate humanity while developing a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Our Homeschool One-Actors program features performing arts instruction which culminates with a performance on the American Theatre stage. We are also planning some additional daytime and evening classes to introduce youth to acting, musical theatre, dance and movement classes! While our visual and fine arts education program, ArtWorks, took a hiatus for a short time, we are still planning the best ways to work with regional school districts! Our program goal is to augment the schools’ visual arts curriculums with our Teaching Artists to support our region’s art teachers. Finally, we’re already thinking and looking ahead to our SummerStage Musical Theatre Institute in 2023. We anticipate offering a host of world-class theatre experiences through a combination of arts-intensive workshops and classes with professional actors and instructors from around the world and around the corner. Our mission at Hampton Arts Education is always to provide our citizens and audiences with exciting, diverse and dynamic outlets for artistic expression.
