The Season Reimagined.  This, our 37th season, will be remembered for the innovative and creative musical experiences spawned in the wake of cancelled concerts and events due to the COVID pandemic. Unique one-on-one private concerts moved and delighted patrons and musicians alike, proving to be intimate, meaningful experiences for all that shared in them. Our new virtual series, featuring varied Symphony ensembles filmed at iconic locations throughout the Santa Fe area, is magnificent. And, our music education activities have expanded to include a number of new, virtual programs to adapt to these unusual times. The dedication, energy and enthusiasm of our staff and musicians during this entire process has been inspiring. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!

 

While venturing out and experimenting with new ways to engage with our patrons and community is exciting, we do look forward to returning to The Lensic to perform beloved masterworks and brilliant new creations for our friends and supporters. There is nothing quite like enjoying a full symphony orchestra in a beautiful hall with hundreds of like-minded friends. 

 

Santa Fe is blessed to be home to one of the most culturally and artistically vibrant communities in our country.  We are accustomed to having a variety of performing arts opportunities at our disposal. Unfortunately, these organizations and artists are at the epicenter of COVID-era shutdowns and restrictions on social gatherings. If you care about great music and great musicians, please consider The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus in your giving plans. We will make you proud.
