Synopsis

ACT ONE

Hänsel & Gretel are hungry. They are hungry for their devices that have been taken away by Mother because they've become addicted to them. Instead of doing their chores, the children find a secret device used only by Mother and Father. They begin to play and dance and make a mess of the house.

Mother suddenly comes home and finds the children have neglected their chores while she and the Father have labored endlessly to try to give the family MORE. In her anger, she breaks the device which sends her into a rage. To punish the children she forces them into a dangerous Virtual Reality game where children can become prey for the darker forces of technology.

Father comes home and announces that the family has come into some more money through cryptocurrency trading. When Father sees that the children are not responding to him, he asks Mother what happened. She tells him she put them into the VR Game and he immediately becomes frightened and tells her of the Witch of the Web who lures children, makes them addicted to technology and consumes them. They decide to enter the game to rescue them.

ACT TWO

The children are enjoying the game and begin to discover a new world opening up to them. With each new level of the game, things begin to get darker. They start to realize that perhaps the game has changed. When they try to exit the game, they realize they are lost and cannot escape. At the height of their fear, Sandmann enters to pause the game and allow the children to sleep for a bit.

ACT THREE

Dew Fairy enters and restarts the game imploring the children to wake up and continue the day. The children enter the final level  which at first seems to be a wonderful game of Candy Crush. It is actually the lair of the Witch, who captures the children and feeds on their souls.

The Witch appears and the children try to escape. The Witch puts a spell on the children and prepares to consume Hänsel. The Witch tries to get Gretel to help her destroy Hänsel but she figures out how to hack the game and destroy the Witch. All the souls of children consumed by technology are released. The family is reunited and all is well. For now.
