About the Concert

Just as the first Celebrity Series Concert of the 2023 season concluded with a Brahms sextet, so will the finale of our acclaimed series - this time with the String Sextet No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 18. The program will also feature a trio of works for cello and piano performed by Thomas Mesa and Iris Hsu, and the sublime Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor, Op. 67 by Shostakovich performed by Yoojin Jang, Colin Carr, and Tae Kim. And join us starting at 6:30 as we continue our tradition of offering the finest regional wine, beer, and other light refreshments in the complimentary pre-concert “Heifetz Happy Hour.”
