I’ve often compared life to a conveyor belt. We spend most of our time looking forward, adding pieces, and managing issues down the line. Occasionally we glance to the side and are shocked to see how far we’ve traveled, the number of years that have passed, and the many people who have played significant roles in our journey.
The KSO with this program begins its 30th season. That is a testament to the moxie I inherited; the support of family, friends, and the community; and the quality, integrity, and engaging efforts of KSO musicians, artists, board, volunteers, and staff.
A 30th anniversary is usually celebrated with pearls. May the programs and musical pearls we present in the 2021-22 season connect us all in wisdom, passion, beauty, and spirit.
Thank you for sharing your time and treasure with the KSO.
