“There is no place like home!” I feel the same way returning to EJ Thomas Hall that Dorothy does. As one of Akron’s professional theatres, we strive to bring innovative storytelling and the highest quality productions to life. We are thrilled to add to the storied legacy of EJ Thomas Hall by presenting our professional theatre season here. This version of The Wizard of Oz stays true to the 1939 MGM film. We follow Dorothy and her companions as they journey through Oz and encounter the fantastic world of characters. This production is another of our joint ventures where our Theatre Institute students join local professionals in the cast. I am truly honored to helm this show! Thank you for supporting live theatre.
