with Jason Vieaux, guitar

The legendary New York-based orchestra joins GRAMMY-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux for a thrilling program entitled Noche de Fantasías, celebrating the beautiful music of Spain and Latin America.

The concert features Jason Vieaux performing the great Joaquín Rodrigo’s debonair fantasy on old Spanish melodiesFantasia para un Gentilhombre; a new work by Cuban sensation Jorge Amado that draws inspiration from the traditional music of his homeland; some evocative night music from Manuel Ponce; and a vivid sketch of a skeleton from Gabriela Ortiz which showcases the vibrant past and present of Mexican concert music.
