Maria Finkelmeier: Entrepreneurship and Creating Public Art

Maria Finkelmeier is a percussionist, composer, professor, and new media artist, whose work continually transcends both genre and medium. She has created and directed large-scale multimedia events and installations in public spaces from Cincinnati to Northern Sweden, with many throughout great Boston, including Hatched: Breaking through the Silence at the Hatch Shell. She is currently an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music specializing in Creative Entrepreneurship.
