About Richmond Triangle Players

Richmond Triangle Players offers entertaining, thought-provoking, and inspiring theatre that explores identity, culture, and family across sexual orientation and gender spectrums, celebrating and giving voice to the variety and complexity of LGBTQ+ experiences. We hope to uplift hearts, open minds, and advance our community’s conversation about diversity, nd inclusion by telling stories with emotion, humor, and authenticity. Chelsea Baldree she/her (Phantom) is thrilled to be a part of this amazing cast! She is also honored to share the stage for the first time in 11 years with her partner William! She was last seen on stage with RTP in Head Over Heels and is always thankful for the opportunity to dance her tits off. Maria Carpinelli she/her (Phantom, U/S Janet) is so thrilled to be Time Warping with RTP this Halloween! She is a brand-new graduate from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) with adegree in musical theatre. Most recently, Maria has been seen swinging in Waitress and Dragons Love Tacos (Leroy the Dog), with Virginia Rep, in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 at JMU (Sonya), and will be singing around NYC as Star to Be in Cadence’s Annie this winter! Nezsiah Dennis they/she (Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter) is honored to be in another production with Richmond Triangle Players and overjoyed to be part of The Rocky Horror Show. Previous credits include Thought #2 in A Strange Loop (RTCC award Best Musical) Donkey in Shrek The Musical (BCC), Ensemble/Pythio u/s in Head Over Heels (RTP) as well as various cabaret performances in the Basement RVA and 54 Below. Felix Eller he/him (Rocky Horror) is honored to be in his first production with Richmond Triangle Players and thrilled to be playing the title role in The Rocky Horror Show. Felix grew up doing theater; however, this is his first time back after 5 years off and very first time doing professional theater. During his hiatus, Felix competed as a collegiate cheerleader, performed in an acapella group, modeled at New York Fashion Week, and started a queer runclub here in Richmond. Rachel Garmon-Willliams they/them (Phantom; Riff Raff U/S) is thrilled to be back with RTP and Rocky Horror! Previous credits include Guildenstern in Hamlet and Adrianna in Comedy of Errors with Richmond Shakespeare. And numerous shows with Richmond Triangle Players including The Rocky Horror Show, Airswimming, Log Cabin, and Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties. With an extensive improv background Rachel is also the founder and executive director of Bridge 9 Theater. Love to family, friends, and Travis. Look up!


Madison Hatfield she/her (Usherette/Magenta) is so excited to be on the Carpenter Stage for the first time, especially with Richmond Triangle Players. She was most recently seen in Firehouse Theatre’s production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 as Dolokhov. She is a graduate of VCU with a BFA in Theatre Performance! Other credits include: Peter and the Starcatcher (Ted) at Firehouse Theatre, Head Over Heels (Pamela) with Richmond Triangle Players, Urinetown: the Musical (Hope) with TheatreLab, and Kaly in Atlantis: A New Musical with Virginia Repertory Theatre. When she’s not on stage, she’s busy as a Pet Care Supervisor at Furr Kingdom Pet Resort and Daycare helping dogs and cats learn to enjoy spending time with other friends! All her love goes to her family, both chosen and blood, but mostly her dogs, Pookie and Lana. Performance dedicated, always, to Adam Turck.


Keaton Hillman he/him (Phantom; Brad U/S) is a Richmond-based theatre artist who has worked on and off-stage with various local theatres for nine years. Recent credits include Thought 6 in A Strange Loop, Person on the Left in one in two, and Davey in Vincent River (Richmond Triangle Players); Henry in Sanctuary City (5th Wall Theatre), McKnight in the world premiere of Roman à Clef, Actor 1 in the world premiere of Memories of Overdevelopment, and Youth in Passing Strange (Firehouse Theatre). Marjie Imzadi she/her (Columbia), née Southerland,, also known as Jo’Rie Tigerlily, is a dynamic performer and artist originally from New Jersey, now rooted in Richmond. Her artistic journey began in church and evolved through vocal jazz and musical theatre studies in Chicago and New York, culminating in a BFA from The New School. She has performed across the country, including roles in Chicago theater and living history at Colonial Williamsburg. In Richmond, she’s made a mark with companies like Virginia Rep and Firehouse Theatre, earning a 2019–2020 RTCC nomination for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman. Marjie’s burlesque career launched in 2015, leading to national acclaim, including headlining the Colorado Burlesque Festival and performing at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. A pillar of RVA’s burlesque scene, she is a founding member of Nu Rodeo Caldonia, teaches and choreographs, and serves on the Gallery5 community board. She has spent the last year and a half as Creative Director of The Basement and is thrilled to transition into her role of Production Manager at RTP —using her art to uplift queer, BIPOC, and creative communities.

Wette Midler, she/her (The Narrator) is a drag artist within the city of Richmond and is absolutely delighted to grace the stage with RTP and Richmond Symphony! She was last at RTP in A Campy Christmas, Scrooge In Rouge as well as Charles Busch’s Times Square Angel. You may have seen her in the self-produced drag spectacle, Flooded! Or as the opening act for RuPaul’s Drag Race Allstars, Mrs. Kasha Davis AND Darienne Lake! Outside of drag you may know them as her male counterpart, Luke Newsome, whose RTP performance and design credits include: The Rocky Horror Show, It Shoulda Been You, The View Upstairs, Perfect Arrangement, and many more! Jasmine Purchas she/her (Phantom) is a multifaceted artist currently located in the RVA area. She is thrilled to be joining Richmond Triangle's production of Rocky Horror this season. Prior to this she was a primary dancer in Virginia Musical Theatre's production of Footloose this past April. She went to Governor’s School for the Arts where she majored in dance. She’s previously been a dance instructor at Releve RVA and a choreographer for various summer SPARC productions. She is currently a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University where she studies media journalism and theatre. She is also currently senior fashion editor at INK magazine (a student-led publication) and just had a written piece that went into ink's spring print issue. From performing to writing, Jasmine is a force to be reckoned with and is ecstatic to be sharing the Dominion Energy stage with so many talented, gifted individuals. Shannon Schilstra she/her (Janet Weiss) is over the moon to be working with the RTP dream team and the Richmond Symphony on such a wild, freeing, and joyous show. Shannon is a Richmond based performer with notable credits including Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher at Firehouse Theatre (RTCC Best Lead Performance in a Play Nominee) and Philoclea in Head Over Heels at Richmond Triangle Players (RTCC Best Supporting Performance in a Musical Winner). Regional Credits: Great Comet (Firehouse), The Best of Times (RTP), Mamma Mia (VA Rep), Rocky Horror the Concert (YesAnd), Snapshots (HAT Theatre). The Author

The Author

Richard O'Brien (Book, Music and Lyrics) is an English-born New Zealand-raised actor, writer, musician and television presenter. He wrote the musical stage show The Rocky Horror Show in 1973 which became an international success and has remained in continuous production. He also co-wrote the screenplay of the film adaptation The Rocky Horror Picture Show, released in 1975, appearing in the film as Riff Raff. O’Brien was a member of the pop duo Kimi and Ritz from 1973 to 1976. He wrote Shock Treatment and appeared in the film as Dr. Cosmo McKinley. O'Brien appeared in the ITV series Robin of Sherwood, as Gulnar, alongside Jason Connery (1984–1986). He appeared in the 1997 film Spice World, and was also the voice of Lawrence Fletcher, the title characters' father in Phineas and Ferb (2007–2015).

Kendall Walker she/her (Production Co-Director and Dramaturg) works locally as an actor, director, dramaturg, and adjunct professor in the theatre department at Virginia Commonwealth University. Kendall came to Richmond in 2021 to achieve a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Pedagogy & Performance from VCU. She also serves as Community Engagement Manager and resident Dramaturg at RTP, working to champion queer storytelling at such a vital time. Directing credits include: The Inheritance, The Best of Times, and Head Over Heels (Co-directed alongside Lucian Restivo), and her independent directorial debut with Scrooge In Rouge at RTP. Local acting credits include Airswimming and 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche (RTP); Dial M for Murder (VA Rep); The Diary of Anne Frank (Swift Creek Mill); and Smoke (Cadence Theater; Joleen).

Frank Foster he/him (Scenic Design) is a Richmond-based designer whose RTP credits include A Strange Loop, Scrooge in Rouge, Head Over Heels, The Inheritance, Stonewallin’, The Normal Heart, I Am My Own Wife, It Shoulda Been You, The Boy from OZ, La Cage aux Folles, Angels In America, Psycho Beach Party, and Cabaret. He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from VCU. Frank has designed scenery for several original productions, including Barter Theatre’s Huck Finn, Cumberland County Playhouse’s Funny, You Don’t Look Like A Grandmother, and Playhouse on the Square’s production of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. His Local Credits include Virginia Rep’s Beautiful, Steel Magnolias, and The Music Man (Theatre IV); Barksdale’s Blues in the Night; The Production Company’s August Snow; Riverside Center’s Ragtime, Ghost, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, Nunsense, Camelot, Bright Star, Grumpy Old Men, Annie, South Pacific, The Color Purple, On Golden Pond, and Oklahoma!; and numerous musicals at Dogwood Dell.

Michael Jarett he/him (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to return to Richmond Triangle Players where he has designed 34 productions including A Strange Loop (RTCC Winner) The Best of Times (RTCC Nomination), Torch Song, Head Over Heels (RTCC Nomination), The Rocky Horror Show, The Inheritance (RTCC Nomination), 4000 Days, The Cake, Falsettos, The Laramie Project (RTCC Nomination), Sondheim on Sondheim, A Chorus Line, The View UpStairs, It Shoulda Been You, The Boy from Oz (RTCC Nomination), Psycho Beach Party, YANK!, Angels in America (RTCC Nomination), Cabaret, La Cage aux Folles, The Musical of Musicals (RTCC Nomination), and numerous cabaret acts including Charles Busch’s My Kinda 60s, Eden Espinosa in Clutch My Pearls, and Nicholas Rodriguez’ Sincerely Sondheim. Lauren Langston she/her (Production Stage Manager) has worked as a Production Stage Manager in Richmond for over 12 years and this production will be her third Rocky Horror Show. Calvin Malone he/him (Choreographer) is thrilled to be choreographing again for RTP on this momentous collaboration with the Richmond Symphony! In his professional career, he has worked with several companies across the country as a performer, dance captain, and choreographer. Calvin has been in three world premiere musicals: Gun and Powder at Signature Theatre, May We All at TPAC, and Big River TYA at ATMTC. Richmond credits: Waitress, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and 9 to 5: The Musical at Virginia Rep; Which Way to the Stage, Scrooge in Rouge and Head Over Heels (RTCC nom) at Richmond Triangle Players. Tim Moehring he/him (Props Design) has, since 2021, enjoyed working as a props designer throughout the Richmond Theater Community. Highlights include Peter and the Starcatcher (Firehouse Theatre), Pass Over (Yes And! Theatrical Company), and most recently, A Strange Loop (RTP/Firehouse). Tim is a special effects artist, director, and film festival award winning writer. He is also the co-founder of Aisthesis Productions, which creates in diverse mediums from feature films, to episodic series, to live theater productions, to puppetry.


Luke Newsome he/him (Hair & Makeup Designer) is always happy to help out RTP in any way that he can! Previous RTP design credits: Conversations with Mother, Which Way to the Stage, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche (RTCC Award), Torch Song, Scrooge In Rouge, Head Over Heels, Christmas on the Rocks, The Inheritance, The Pink Unicorn, Vincent River (hair and makeup designer), and Molly House (costume, hair, and makeup designer) and Lazarus Syndrome (props designer). Robert Stoop he/him (Music Director/Conductor) is a Philly native and proud Richmond transplant whose musical journey bridges performance, education, science, and creative leadership. A classically trained pianist and music director with over twenty years of experience, he has led productions across theatres, concert halls, and sacred spaces. Outside the arts, Robert works in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry as a pharmacovigilance specialist, uniting his love of precision and purpose. He holds two degrees in Healthcare Administration (both with concentrations in Policy and Ethics) and a PhD in Organizational Development and Change Management. An adjunct at Virginia Commonwealth University, Robert teaches in both the Musical Theatre and Music Performance programs. He is thrilled to join this inaugural collaboration with the Richmond Symphony and Richmond Triangle Players, and extends heartfelt thanks to his family, friends, and most of all, his husband, Carlos, whose unwavering love and support sustain every note.

Emily Vial she/her (Technical Director) has been with Firehouse Theatre for last four years with favorite productions including Gabriel: A New Musical, The Annual War in Pieces Festival, and Peter and the Starcatcher. She has worked with RVA Baroque on the production of their new Opera Julie, Monster, for the VA Arts Fringe Festival in Norfolk, and with Virginia Musical Theatre on their production of La Cage Aux Folles. She earned her degree in Theatre from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2018 with focus in Theatre Production, and returned to Richmond to join the Firehouse team where she now serves as Technical Director. She served as Technical Director for Richmond Triangle Players on their productions of A Strange Loop and The Rocky Horror Show (2022).

Keith Walker he/him (Costume Designer) comes to us with over 40 years of sewing and design experience. His passion for fashion design and sewing started when he was 13 years old. His reputation was built on a solid foundation of hands-on work. He has been a Lead Costume Designer/Tailor for local theme parks and various theaters. His vast knowledge of tailoring and menswear has made it easy for him to transition into the world of Theater. His motto is: always allow the universe to use his talents to make something beautiful for the world to see. His work has been seen in Virginia Rep’s Mamma Mia, and Ella and Her Fella Frank. He won a RTCC award for his costume design for Richmond Shakespeare’s rendition of Hamlet last season.


Philip Crosby, he/him (RTP Executive Director) is celebrating his sixteenth season leading Richmond Triangle Players; he joined the Board of RTP in 2001 and became the company’s first full-time Managing Director in 2009. He has spent almost forty years working with nonprofit arts organizations, including as a professional marketer, publicist, fundraiser and strategist for Cleveland’s Great Lakes Theater Festival, Boston Shakespeare Festival, TheatreVirginia, and Richmond Ballet. During his career, he has had the great good fortune to collaborate with many celebrated artists, including Tom Hanks, Olympia Dukakis, Hal Holbrook, Alfred Drake, George Abbott, Ruby Dee, Graciela Daniele, and Gerald Freedman. In concert with RTP’s Board, artists, staff, patrons, and volunteers, he led this company’s transformation from a small fringe theater into one of Richmond’s most vital arts institutions and the cultural anchor of the revitalized Scott’s Addition neighborhood. He was appointed by former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to serve on the Commonwealth’s first LGBTQ Tourism Task Force, has served on several advisory panels for the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and has been a member of Richmond Region Tourism’s OutRVA Campaign since its inception. He serves on the board for Virginians for the Arts and the Greater Scott’s Addition Association, and as a member of Mayor Danny Avula’s Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee as well as the Diamond District’s new Public Art Committee. He was honored by statewide advocacy organization, Equality Virginia, as one of 2023’s OUTstanding Virginians. He holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University. None of this would be possible without the love and support of his husband, David Allan Ballas.

Chelsea Baldree she/her (Phantom) is thrilled to be a part of this amazing cast! She is also honored to share the stage for the first time in 11 years with her partner William! She was last seen on stage with RTP in Head Over Heels and is always thankful for the opportunity to dance her tits off. Maria Carpinelli she/her (Phantom, U/S Janet) is so thrilled to be Time Warping with RTP this Halloween! She is a brand-new graduate from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) with adegree in musical theatre. Most recently, Maria has been seen swinging in Waitress and Dragons Love Tacos (Leroy the Dog), with Virginia Rep, in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 at JMU (Sonya), and will be singing around NYC as Star to Be in Cadence’s Annie this winter! Felix Eller he/him (Rocky Horror) is honored to be in his first production with Richmond Triangle Players and thrilled to be playing the title role in The Rocky Horror Show. Felix grew up doing theater; however, this is his first time back after 5 years off and very first time doing professional theater. During his hiatus, Felix competed as a collegiate cheerleader, performed in an acapella group, modeled at New York Fashion Week, and started a queer runclub here in Richmond. Rachel Garmon-Willliams they/them (Phantom; Riff Raff U/S) is thrilled to be back with RTP and Rocky Horror! Previous credits include Guildenstern in Hamlet and Adrianna in Comedy of Errors with Richmond Shakespeare. And numerous shows with Richmond Triangle Players including The Rocky Horror Show, Airswimming, Log Cabin, and Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties. Madison Hatfield she/her (Usherette/Magenta) is so excited to be on the Carpenter Stage for the first time, especially with Richmond Triangle Players. She was most recently seen in Firehouse Theatre’s production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 as Dolokhov. She is a graduate of VCU with a BFA in Theatre Performance! Other credits include: Peter and the Starcatcher (Ted) at Firehouse Theatre, Head Over Heels (Pamela) with Richmond Triangle Players, Urinetown: the Musical (Hope) with TheatreLab, and Kaly in Atlantis: A New Musical with Virginia Repertory Theatre. When she’s not on stage, she’s busy as a Pet Care Supervisor at Furr Kingdom Pet Resort and Daycare helping dogs and cats learn to enjoy spending time with other friends! Keaton Hillman he/him (Phantom; Brad U/S) is a Richmond-based theatre artist who has worked on and off-stage with various local theatres for nine years. Recent credits include Thought 6 in A Strange Loop, Person on the Left in one in two, and Davey in Vincent River (Richmond Triangle Players); Henry in Sanctuary City (5th Wall Theatre), McKnight in the world premiere of Roman à Clef, Actor 1 in the world premiere of Memories of Overdevelopment, and Youth in Passing Strange (Firehouse Theatre). Marjie Imzadi she/her (Columbia), née Southerland,, also known as Jo’Rie Tigerlily, is a dynamic performer and artist originally from New Jersey, now rooted in Richmond. Her artistic journey began in church and evolved through vocal jazz and musical theatre studies in Chicago and New York, culminating in a BFA from The New School. She has performed across the country, including roles in Chicago theater and living history at Colonial Williamsburg. In Richmond, she’s made a mark with companies like Virginia Rep and Firehouse Theatre, earning a 2019–2020 RTCC nomination for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman. Marjie’s burlesque career launched in 2015, leading to national acclaim, including headlining the Colorado Burlesque Festival and performing at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. A pillar of RVA’s burlesque scene, she is a founding member of Nu Rodeo Caldonia, teaches and choreographs, and serves on the Gallery5 community board. She has spent the last year and a half as Creative Director of The Basement and is thrilled to transition into her role of Production Manager at RTP —using her art to uplift queer, BIPOC, and creative communities.

Wette Midler, she/her (The Narrator) is a drag artist within the city of Richmond and is absolutely delighted to grace the stage with RTP and Richmond Symphony! Jasmine Purchas she/her (Phantom) is a multifaceted artist currently located in the RVA area. She is thrilled to be joining Richmond Triangle's production of Rocky Horror this season. Prior to this she was a primary dancer in Virginia Musical Theatre's production of Footloose this past April. She went to Governor’s School for the Arts where she majored in dance. She’s previously been a dance instructor at Releve RVA and a choreographer for various summer SPARC productions. She is currently a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University where she studies media journalism and theatre. She is also currently senior fashion editor at INK magazine (a student-led publication) and just had a written piece that went into ink's spring print issue. From performing to writing, Jasmine is a force to be reckoned with and is ecstatic to be sharing the Dominion Energy stage with so many talented, gifted individuals. Shannon Schilstra she/her (Janet Weiss) is over the moon to be working with the RTP dream team and the Richmond Symphony on such a wild, freeing, and joyous show. Richard O'Brien (Book, Music and Lyrics) is an English-born New Zealand-raised actor, writer, musician and television presenter. He wrote the musical stage show The Rocky Horror Show in 1973 which became an international success and has remained in continuous production. He also co-wrote the screenplay of the film adaptation The Rocky Horror Picture Show, released in 1975, appearing in the film as Riff Raff. O’Brien was a member of the pop duo Kimi and Ritz from 1973 to 1976. He wrote Shock Treatment and appeared in the film as Dr. Cosmo McKinley. O'Brien appeared in the ITV series Robin of Sherwood, as Gulnar, alongside Jason Connery (1984–1986). He appeared in the 1997 film Spice World, and was also the voice of Lawrence Fletcher, the title characters' father in Phineas and Ferb (2007–2015).

Lucian Restivo, he/him (Production Co-Director and RTP Artistic Director) is a theatre professional in the Richmond area. Kendall Walker she/her (Production Co-Director and Dramaturg) works locally as an actor, director, dramaturg, and adjunct professor in the theatre department at Virginia Commonwealth University. Kendall came to Richmond in 2021 to achieve a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Pedagogy & Performance from VCU. She also serves as Community Engagement Manager and resident Dramaturg at RTP, working to champion queer storytelling at such a vital time. Directing credits include: The Inheritance, The Best of Times, and Head Over Heels (Co-directed alongside Lucian Restivo), and her independent directorial debut with Scrooge In Rouge at RTP. Local acting credits include Airswimming and 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche (RTP); Dial M for Murder (VA Rep); The Diary of Anne Frank (Swift Creek Mill); and Smoke (Cadence Theater; Joleen).

Frank Foster he/him (Scenic Design) is a Richmond-based designer whose RTP credits include A Strange Loop, Scrooge in Rouge, Head Over Heels, The Inheritance, Stonewallin’, The Normal Heart, I Am My Own Wife, It Shoulda Been You, The Boy from OZ, La Cage aux Folles, Angels In America, Psycho Beach Party, and Cabaret. He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from VCU. Frank has designed scenery for several original productions, including Barter Theatre’s Huck Finn, Cumberland County Playhouse’s Funny, You Don’t Look Like A Grandmother, and Playhouse on the Square’s production of A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. His Local Credits include Virginia Rep’s Beautiful, Steel Magnolias, and The Music Man (Theatre IV); Barksdale’s Blues in the Night; The Production Company’s August Snow; Riverside Center’s Ragtime, Ghost, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, Nunsense, Camelot, Bright Star, Grumpy Old Men, Annie, South Pacific, The Color Purple, On Golden Pond, and Oklahoma!; and numerous musicals at Dogwood Dell.

Lauren Langston she/her (Production Stage Manager) has worked as a Production Stage Manager in Richmond for over 12 years and this production will be her third Rocky Horror Show. She considers RTP to be her home theater and has had the pleasure of Production Stage Managing the following productions: A Strange Loop, Which Way to the Stage, Torch Song, Scrooge in Rouge, One in Two, Head Over Heels, The Inheritance Parts 1 & 2, The Rocky Horror Show (2019 and 2022), Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, 4000 Days, Vincent River, The Santa Closet, The Cake, and others. When she’s out of the booth she can be found dressed in vintage clothing, restoring lava lamps, playing DND, or hanging out with her Pomeranian Millie. Calvin Malone he/him (Choreographer) is thrilled to be choreographing again for RTP on this momentous collaboration with the Richmond Symphony! In his professional career, he has worked with several companies across the country as a performer, dance captain, and choreographer. Calvin has been in three world premiere musicals: Gun and Powder at Signature Theatre, May We All at TPAC, and Big River TYA at ATMTC. Richmond credits: Waitress, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and 9 to 5: The Musical at Virginia Rep; Which Way to the Stage, Scrooge in Rouge and Head Over Heels (RTCC nom) at Richmond Triangle Players. Tim Moehring he/him (Props Design) has, since 2021, enjoyed working as a props designer throughout the Richmond Theater Community. Highlights include Peter and the Starcatcher (Firehouse Theatre), Pass Over (Yes And! Theatrical Company), and most recently, A Strange Loop (RTP/Firehouse). Tim is a special effects artist, director, and film festival award winning writer. He is also the co-founder of Aisthesis Productions, which creates in diverse mediums from feature films, to episodic series, to live theater productions, to puppetry.


Luke Newsome he/him (Hair & Makeup Designer) is always happy to help out RTP in any way that he can! Robert Stoop he/him (Music Director/Conductor) is a Philly native and proud Richmond transplant whose musical journey bridges performance, education, science, and creative leadership. A classically trained pianist and music director with over twenty years of experience, he has led productions across theatres, concert halls, and sacred spaces. Outside the arts, Robert works in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry as a pharmacovigilance specialist, uniting his love of precision and purpose. He holds two degrees in Healthcare Administration (both with concentrations in Policy and Ethics) and a PhD in Organizational Development and Change Management. An adjunct at Virginia Commonwealth University, Robert teaches in both the Musical Theatre and Music Performance programs. He is thrilled to join this inaugural collaboration with the Richmond Symphony and Richmond Triangle Players, and extends heartfelt thanks to his family, friends, and most of all, his husband, Carlos, whose unwavering love and support sustain every note.

Emily Vial she/her (Technical Director) has been with Firehouse Theatre for last four years with favorite productions including Gabriel: A New Musical, The Annual War in Pieces Festival, and Peter and the Starcatcher. She has worked with RVA Baroque on the production of their new Opera Julie, Monster, for the VA Arts Fringe Festival in Norfolk, and with Virginia Musical Theatre on their production of La Cage Aux Folles. She earned her degree in Theatre from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2018 with focus in Theatre Production, and returned to Richmond to join the Firehouse team where she now serves as Technical Director. She served as Technical Director for Richmond Triangle Players on their productions of A Strange Loop and The Rocky Horror Show (2022).

Keith Walker he/him (Costume Designer) comes to us with over 40 years of sewing and design experience. His passion for fashion design and sewing started when he was 13 years old. His reputation was built on a solid foundation of hands-on work. He has been a Lead Costume Designer/Tailor for local theme parks and various theaters. His vast knowledge of tailoring and menswear has made it easy for him to transition into the world of Theater. His motto is: always allow the universe to use his talents to make something beautiful for the world to see. His work has been seen in Virginia Rep’s Mamma Mia, and Ella and Her Fella Frank. He won a RTCC award for his costume design for Richmond Shakespeare’s rendition of Hamlet last season.


Philip Crosby, he/him (RTP Executive Director) is celebrating his sixteenth season leading Richmond Triangle Players; he joined the Board of RTP in 2001 and became the company’s first full-time Managing Director in 2009. He has spent almost forty years working with nonprofit arts organizations, including as a professional marketer, publicist, fundraiser and strategist for Cleveland’s Great Lakes Theater Festival, Boston Shakespeare Festival, TheatreVirginia, and Richmond Ballet. During his career, he has had the great good fortune to collaborate with many celebrated artists, including Tom Hanks, Olympia Dukakis, Hal Holbrook, Alfred Drake, George Abbott, Ruby Dee, Graciela Daniele, and Gerald Freedman. In concert with RTP’s Board, artists, staff, patrons, and volunteers, he led this company’s transformation from a small fringe theater into one of Richmond’s most vital arts institutions and the cultural anchor of the revitalized Scott’s Addition neighborhood. He was appointed by former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to serve on the Commonwealth’s first LGBTQ Tourism Task Force, has served on several advisory panels for the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and has been a member of Richmond Region Tourism’s OutRVA Campaign since its inception. He serves on the board for Virginians for the Arts and the Greater Scott’s Addition Association, and as a member of Mayor Danny Avula’s Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee as well as the Diamond District’s new Public Art Committee. He was honored by statewide advocacy organization, Equality Virginia, as one of 2023’s OUTstanding Virginians. He holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University.
