LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
OCT 15 - 30, 2022
Dear Friends,

Welcome! We are excited to open this season with the cult-classic musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors. We know you will enjoy this production as much as we have enjoyed putting it together. This artistic team and cast are going to blow you away. Next, we kick off the holiday season with Footloose: The Musical. We have assembled a fantastic cast that will have you dancing in the aisles and all the way back home. Then, as we enter the new year, we are incredibly proud to present the Regional Premiere of Honeymoon in Vegas. This production is the work of one of Slow Burn’s favorite go-to composers Robert Jason Brown and based on the iconic movie from 1992. Our final two musicals of the season will be a thrill for family, friends, and even neighborhood kids. You won’t want to miss our Regional Premiere of Disney and Cameron Macintosh’s Mary Poppins and Disney’s Newsies in the spring and early summer.

As we enter our 13th year of producing theatre in South Florida, we are so honored to have the support of our Board of Directors, Artists, and especially our Patrons and Donors. We want to thank our presenting sponsor American National Bank, and our top grantors the Broward County Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, our partners at the Broward Center, and all of our supporters this season. As you peruse our extended digital program, please take a moment to view our Donor Page. You will see the names of friends, corporations, and foundations. We would not be able to produce quality theatre without their donor support. If you enjoy our shows and would like to help us continue to produce quality theatre, we invite you to visit our lobby table.  Please commit tonight to supporting local professional theatre so it can continue to thrive in South Florida.

Before the journey of this new season begins, we want to express our sincerest gratitude to all who have committed to honoring the value of storytelling and the power the theatre holds for compassion, acceptance, and community. It is our deepest privilege to be able to produce art for you – our audience. We hope that the stories we tell resonate with you and empower you, and continue to so in the years to come.

And now, as the curtain rises, sit back and enjoy!
