Into the Woods
October 14 – 29, 2023
Dear Friends,

Happy Autumn, friends, and welcome to Slow Burn Theatre’s exciting 14th Season. If our past season taught us anything, it’s that our audiences are back and they’re loving what we’re doing – and like last season, this one has shows for everyone.

As our audiences grow and our shows get bigger, our staff does too – so I’d like to welcome our new team members and announce new things for those you already know. You all met Julie Valent, but she has a new role as our Managing Director. We have a new Technical Director, Timothy S. Dickey and a new resident Production Stage Manager, John Murdock. Along with additional members on our Board of Directors, we’re assembling quite an amazing team!

We also have a new recurring donor program called the Firestarter Society which will help us continue to grow our staff in the coming years. There’s information in the lobby or on our website if you or your business are interested in participating.

Thank you for being here tonight. Whether this is your first Slow Burn show or your 63rd (there are a lot of you who’ve seen them all!), we welcome you. We are your theatre company - Broadway in your backyard. Most of the talent onstage and backstage is from right here in Florida. On behalf of all of the people it takes to put on our productions, welcome to our passion and our joy.

Enjoy Into the Woods!
