Safety Measures

The Fort Smith Symphony Board of Directors and staff have taken many measures to ensure your safety at our concerts.

We consider it our utmost responsibility to continue to provide a safe environment for our patrons, our performers, and their families. To that end, all of the musicians, staff, and members of the Board of Directors of the Fort Smith Symphony have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. In addition, we are complying with the CDC’s current recommendation that masks be worn in indoor gatherings. All of our musicians and staff will be masked in the concert hall (except for wind musicians who have removed their mask to play, and return it during rests).

We are asking our audience members to help us maintain an safe environment for our performances by:

  • wearing a mask over your nose and mouth at all times,
  • minimizing gatherings in aisles and hallways, and
  • not attending if you have a persistent cough or fever, or are otherwise ill, prior to the concert.

Thank you for your cooperation this season.
