Casey Berkery (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein)

Casey has grown up learning and performing at VT, and will attend UCF this fall. Credits include: John in john and jen, Jesus in Godspell, Eddie in Mamma Mia!, Hotblades Harry in Urinetown, and Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher. “Thanks to friends, family, and the theatre community for their love and support!”

 

Charlie Kollar (The Monster)

The prodigal son returns! Charlie is thrilled to be back from his first year studying Musical Theatre at Montclair State University. He’d like to thank his mom and best friend Natalie for their support, and sincerely hopes you enjoy the show.

 

Lauren Wickerson (Igor)

Lauren will be attending Lynn University, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. She’s excited to take on this role in her first SummerStock production. Her most memorable roles include Dotty Otley in Noises Off, Amalia in She Loves Me, Wednesday in The Addams Family (LBHS), and Ali in Mamma Mia! (VT).

 

Belle Babcock (Inga)

Entering her second year as a BFA Musical Theatre major at Montclair State University, Belle has recently been seen as Kate in Brigadoon (MSU), Sophie in Mamma Mia! (VT), Cinderella in Cinderella (Booker High), and Hope in Urinetown (VT). “Love to Mom, Jess, Ama. Ladybug hugs to Daddy and Papa in Heaven.”

 

Natalie Taylor (Elizabeth)

A sophomore BFA musical theatre student at Emerson College, Natalie is beyond excited to be back onstage at VT. Past credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Suds, and Little Shop of Horrors. Natalie would like to thank her parents, Charlie, Brad, Lisa, and Michelle for all their advice and support!

 

Taylor Reister (Frau Blücher/Assistant Choreographer/Dance Captain)

Taylor is a rising junior acting major at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. Previous credits at Venice Theatre include Little Sally in Urinetown and Candy in Zombie Prom. “Thank you to Brad and the team for yet another remarkable opportunity! All love for everyone here at Venice.” 

 

Kobe Timmons (Inspector Hans Kemp)

Kobe is happy to be in his SummerStock debut.

 

Michael McQueeney (The Hermit)

A graduate from Booker High School, Michael can’t put into words how excited he is to be in his second SummerStock. Credits include Urinetown, Seussical the Musical, and Much Ado About Nothing. Michael enjoys art, fencing, and other niche interests. “Thanks to my friends and family for encouraging me and helping me.”

 

Gregory Karcz (Dr. Victor von Frankenstein)

Gregory is a second-year theatre student at the University of Florida. He is excited to be in his second SummerStock production, the first being Urinetown. Previous credits include Joey (Sister Act) and Christopher (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time). He would like to thank his family, friends, and cat for their endless support.

 

Ryan Hunek (Ziggy)

Ryan Hunek is an upcoming senior at Pine View School. This is his third year in SummerStock at Venice Theatre and he is very excited for the opportunity.

 

Kiley Berkery (Ensemble) 

Kiley is an incoming eleventh grader at Venice High School. She has done shows at Venice Theatre since age seven. Some of her favorites include Mary Poppins, Urinetown, and john and jen. She would like to thank her directors, family, and Venice Theatre for making SummerStock possible again.

 

Sophie Buchmeier (Ensemble)

Sophie is headed into tenth grade at Venice High and is excited to be making her VT SummerStock debut. Previous VT credits include six years as a Cratchit daughter in A Christmas Carol. She is a proud member of Spotlight Theatre and loves all things Harry Potter. “Thanks to Brad and Michelle for this opportunity.”

 

Jackson Carney (Ensemble)

Jackson is a sophomore at Booker High School. He is a Level 2 performance major in the VPA theatre program. He was last seen at VT in The Jungle Book as Tabaqui, A Christmas Carol, and Willy Wonka Jr. as Augustus Gloop. He would like to thank Brad for such an amazing opportunity. 

 

Caroline Culbreath (Ensemble)

Caroline is a current Musical Theatre major at SCF. She is thrilled to be in her first VT production. Recent credits from the Players include Hello, Dolly; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; and Follies. She would like to thank her family and friends for the continuous love and support. 

 

Claudia Hassler (Ensemble)

Claudia is a junior at UF. She is excited to be in her fourth SummerStock production at VT. Previous shows include A Christmas Carol, South Pacific, and A Christmas Story. “Big thanks to Brad and Lisa for another fun summer. Thank you!”

 

Anthony Lobo (Ensemble)

Anthony is excited to be in his first Venice Theatre show. He recently played Grasshopper in James and the Giant Peach, Billy in Carrie, and Ensemble in Tuck Everlasting. “Thanks to Belle and Laura for all the fun car rides, so excited to be a part of the Venice family.”

 

Charles Page (Ensemble)

Charles is a rising Junior at North Port High School. Some past shows include Guys and Dolls (Nicely Nicely Johnson), Newsies (Albert), and Moana (Chief Tui). “Thank you Mom, Matt, and Greg for supporting my theater journey.” 

 

Laura Swartzendruber (Ensemble)

Laura is thrilled to be back performing at Venice Theatre. She is a rising senior at Booker High School. Some of her credits include ensemble/Sophie US in Mamma Mia!, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, and most recently the Ace of Clubs in Scott Keys’ production of Kingdom of Solitaire.

 

Auggie Toynton (Ensemble)

A tenth grader at Booker High in Sarasota (AICE & VPA programs), Auggie is excited for his first SummerStock. Recent theatre credits: Wiley And The Hairy Man (VT), Evita and The Sound of Music (Asolo Rep), Singin’ In The Rain and Sleepy Hollow (Players), The Music Man and Elf (MPAC). “Grateful for this opportunity!”

 

Ellie Wheat (Ensemble)

From Indiana, Ellie is excited to be in her third show at VT previously in Urinetown and 42nd Street. She choreographed and starred in the Little Mermaid Ballet, Esther the Musical, Judah Ben-Hur, and Singin’ in the Rain. Ellie thanks her mom, dad, and brother, Luke, for their support, love, and prayers, the Lord for love and grace in her life.
