Concept album: Lives of the Artists. He has also worked extensively as a director for theatre (musicals as well as Shepard, Stoppard, Ibsen) and opera (for the Metropolitan Opera Guild). He has served on NEA and other award panels, as well as the Board of Directors for Theatre Communications Group. He was head Faculty Composer and Director of Production, Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, from 1994 to 2024.
