Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904–1991), known to readers around the world as Dr. Seuss, was an American author and illustrator whose imaginative stories and whimsical rhymes have inspired generations. He wrote and illustrated more than 60 books, including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!.
