Matt Martin graduated from Greensboro College in 2007 with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, memorable roles including The Crucible (John Proctor), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oberon), Prelude to a Kiss (Old Man), and Uncle Vanya (Vanya). He has training in classical guitar from North Carolina School of the Arts, has acted at the Lost Colony, studied Suzuki method at Berkshire Theatre Festival, and has written original music for numerous plays (Barter Theatre, Duke City Rep). After touring internationally for years as founder and lead guitarist for roots rock outfit Holy Ghost Tent Revival, he is now making music under the name Midnight Pony.
