Ben Mackel is absolutely overjoyed to return to Barter! Ben was a member of the resident acting company from 2004 to 2012 and has been associated with Barter as a composer nearly every year since. After physically leaving Abingdon, he has worked regionally in theater and film, but spent the bulk of his time traveling with his harmony driven string band, The Blue Eyed Bettys, as well as his solo project, Threadbare.
