Lily Murchie is a current sophomore in Columbus College of Art and Design’s undergraduate fashion program with a passion for innovative fashion design and textile exploration. She is particularly interested in experimenting with fabric manipulation techniques and developing original design concepts that challenge traditional approaches to garments. Her work reflects curiosity for how fashion can be transformed through structure and craftsmanship. In addition to her interests in fashion, Lily’s artistic practice extends into visual art. A piece of her artwork has been inducted into the Growing Gallery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a program that recognizes and displays the work of young artists. Alongside her creative pursuits, she is also working and planning toward building her own brand, incorporating sustainable practices.
