Carla Risch Chaffin, B.F.A., M.F.A., is an award winning Set Designer and Scenic Artist, working in theater, ballet, opera, TV, and industrial theater, and is delighted to see this production of Swan Lake in the beautiful Ohio Theatre again! Ms. Chaffin's creative relationship with BalletMet spans decades and includes being Charge Artist and Scenic Designer for many productions including the designs for Beauty and The Beast, Dangerous Liaisons, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, Butterfly, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream, and Swan Lake. Ms. Chaffin has also designed and painted multiple shows for Columbus Children's Theatre, C.A.T.C.O. and Colleges and Universities. She is the winner of multiple Peggy Ezekiel Awards for Excellence in Design and is honored to have been featured on G.C.A.C.’s website, ColumbusMakesArt.com. Her most recent work includes the set design and painting of The New Albany Ballet's production of The Nutcracker.
