Aimee J. Coleman has been designing and constructing costumes for theatre and dance for over 20 years. Her design credits for BalletMet include The Nutcracker, Touch, Colores de Alma, Le Sacre du Printemps, Heartstrings, and Call it Off. She has also designed for Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Charlotte Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Conservatory Dance Company, and Wright State University, among others. Her favorite designs resulted from collaborations with such artists as Dwight Rhoden, Stanton Welsh, Stephanie Martinez, Peter Chu, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Patricia McBride, and Mark Diamond. Her most recent work has been seen on the national tours of Dancing with the Stars and Derek Hough Live. She currently serves as Dance Costumer and Shop Supervisor at Point Park University and is designing the world premiere of Bound In Before by Kiesha Lalama.
