My name is Kyler Alexander and I have been playing trumpet for 2 years.  This was my first season with the orchestra and I have had a fantastic time learning and growing with the group.  I currently plan to get a degree in Cyber Security so I can financially support all of my hobbies before later getting some degree in Music.  

What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
If you’re considering auditioning, just go for it, everyone is in the same shoes as you and unsure if they’ll match the levels of the other musicians.  The odds of failure if you genuinely try are slim.
