What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
I would say, just go for it! There’s no hurt in auditioning because even if you don’t make it, you’re still learning a lot about yourself and your instrument. The CYS is truly a great experience, and I’m so glad I was able to take part in it. You learn so much and meet so many new friends, but above all, you’re getting to perform music with a group full of talented. musicians who love it just as much as you!
