Hi! My name is Corinne. I've been playing the flute for about 6 years, and have attended the CYS for a year. I am planning on going to Covenant College on Lookout Mountain for the next couple years of my life, and hope to major in Biology with a minor in music. Being part of an orchestra fills me with joy, and the CYS made it overflowing! The friendships I've made, and the encouragement of the teachers and leaders has made this experience so special for my last year of high-school. I always look forward to driving down to practice on Mondays, and feeling the magic and wonder we express with our gifts! Thank you all who have made my time there an unforgettably fond memory!

What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
Don’t be scared that you won’t get accepted, instead enjoy the experience of being challenged in a field of study you enjoy!
