I've been playing cello for 4 years, and this is my third year as a member of CYS, but I'm also a classical guitarist and lead guitarist in a band. At Baylor where I've studied high school, I'm a member of the school orchestra and Baylor string quartet. Next year, I'll study at Brown University, where I plan to major in physics and play in the school orchestra.

What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
Just give it a try! CYS simultaneously provides the perfect challenge, the opportunity to meet new people, and the ability to create beautiful art every week.
