Aubrey Cole

Aubrey Maren Cole, an Arizona native, is currently finishing the second year of a master’s program in Vocal Performance with a focus on Vocal Pedagogy at The Peabody Institute, where she studies under Margaret “Peggy” Baroody and Denyce Graves-Montgomery, participates in their opera program, and serves as a cohort member of the Denyce Graves Foundation. Aubrey holds a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona, where she excelled in choir and opera, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has performed various operatic roles, including the role of Mozart in The Classical Style, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro. This spring, she will perform the role of Servilia in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito with Peabody Opera while also preparing to join Chautauqua’s Opera Conservatory, singing the role of La Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro. In 2023, she gained recognition by winning first place in Peabody's Art Song Competition and the Southern Arizona Opera Guild's Quest for the Best and placed second in the Amelia Rieman Opera Competition.
