Kirk Morrison is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Trumpet Performance & Literature, with a Performer’s Certificate. During his time at Eastman, he studied with Andrew McCandless and Wes Nance. Kirk has performed with ensembles such as the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Syracuse Orchestra, the Erie Philharmonic, the Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre, and the Finger Lakes Opera. He was also an active member of the Eastman Wind Ensemble, Eastman Philharmonia, the Empire Film & Media Ensemble, and served as Principal Trumpet of the Eastman Brass Guild. In 2023, Kirk completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at Mercyhurst University.  
 
Outside of music, Kirk enjoys coffee, golf, video games, spending time with friends and family, and running marathons.
