Ethan Neal is a multi-faceted musician and award-winning singer, conductor, composer, pianist, and organist based in Cincinnati. He actively performs and teaches as a baritone, organist, and choral conductor across the United States, bringing a unique blend of artistry and leadership to each of his roles. Ethan is dedicated to creating meaningful and inspiring music that brings joy and love to the communities he serves.
Known for his "attentive artistry" and "unique ability to connect with the deepest parts of the soul," Ethan has collaborated with renowned ensembles, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Song Initiative, Lexington Philharmonic, the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, the Bach Ensemble of St. Thomas in Cincinnati, the Kentucky Bach Choir, the Cincinnati Opera, Kentucky Opera, Santa Fe Opera, recording ensemble, Coro Volante, and the England-based professional choral ensemble, Gallicantus. Ethan’s recent engagements include conducting the world premiere of his Mass of the Angels in Dallas, TX and performances as a Vocal Fellow with the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC.
Currently, Ethan serves as the Director of Music at All Saints Episcopal Church, Instructor of Voice at Thomas More University, a Teaching Artist at Cincinnati Opera, and the Assistant Conductor of the CCM Opera d’Arte. As an enthusiastic leader, he remains passionate about cultivating musical experiences that resonate deeply with his audiences, enhancing the musical landscape with his distinctive artistry and commitment to community.
Ethan holds degrees in Organ and Choral Music Education from the University of Kentucky and is pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Choral Conducting and Voice Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
