Dean Tarriff is currently pursuing his undergraduate studies at the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University, where he trains with Jonathan Beyer. He recently performed the role of Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at Montclair State. 
A decorated young artist, Dean has earned numerous honors through the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), including First Place in the Lower College Classical and Musical Theatre divisions at both NJNATS and NATS Eastern. He also placed Second and Third in multiple categories at NATS NYC and NATS Eastern, distinguishing himself across both classical and musical theatre repertoire at the regional and district levels. 
Dean is an active ensemble singer, performing with Montclair’s Chorale, University Singers, and Vocal Accord under Dr. Heather J. Buchanan. Through these ensembles, he has collaborated with the New Jersey Symphony under renowned conductors including Xian Zhang and Jeannette Sorrell. He has also appeared with the acclaimed Bach Choir of Bethlehem under the direction of Dr. Christopher Jackson.
