Nicholas Gryniewski
Baritone

Nicholas Gryniewski is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Western Ontario pursuing his Bachelor of Music Degree with Honours in Voice Performance, studying under Canadian Baritone James Westman. Nicholas’ training from programs such as Nuova Vocal Arts, Chautauqua Institution, and teachers like Barbara Prins, have helped him on his journey to become a strong musician and performer. Nicholas has previously performed roles in La Cenerentola, Gianni Schicchi, Falstaff, L’Incoronazione di Poppea, and The Fairy Queen. Nicholas’ other performance credits include multiple public masterclasses with artists such as Marion Newman Nege’ga, Rachel Calloway, Dominic Armstrong, Jonathan Beyer, Rhoslyn Jones, Liz Upchurch, David Bowser, Tracy Dahl, John Tessier, and Brett Polegato. Nicholas’ many vocal awards include the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 9 and 10 National Gold Medals, the International Resource Centre for Performing Artists’ Louis Quilico Scholarship, and 1st Place at the Ontario Music Festival Association’s Provincial Diploma Class.
