Adam Clark is the Director of Orchestras for Perry Heights Middle School and F.J. Reitz High School. During his tenure, Mr. Clark has been praised for his high-achieving ensembles and distinguished as a “highly-effective” teacher. Mr. Clark has served as an assistant for the EVSC Middle and High School Honor Orchestras.
For the Regional Chapter of the American String Teachers Association, Adam has provided sectional coachings for All-Region Orchestras. In Fall 2025, Mr. Clark will conduct and direct the ASTA All-Region Orchestra. He has served as faculty for the University of Evansville’s Wesley Shepard Summer Music Camp, and a coach for the Youth Symphony Orchestras of East Central Indiana. Mr. Clark maintains a robust and competitive private bass studio.
In addition to his teaching duties, Adam is an active performer in the Evansville community. Adam has performed as bassist with the Tuscia Opera Festival in Viterbo, Italy. He also serves as the string bassist for the Evansville Symphonic Band, and has performed as a substitute musician with the Anderson Symphony and Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.
Adam received a B.S. in Music Education from Ball State University. He studied Double Bass with Hans Strum, Han-Jui Chen, and Joel Braun. Adam Clark is an Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra alum and a graduate of Harrison High School. In his free time, Adam enjoys working on home renovation projects, spending time in the yard, and taking long walks with his dog.
