Anneka Zuehlke-King

Anneka Zuehlke-King currently serves as Principal Horn of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, and as Third Horn of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. In her free weeks, Anneka also performs with the Charlotte Symphony, Charleston Symphony, Hendersonville Symphony, the GAMAC Orchestra, and Symphony Orchestra Augusta. She is also a member of two chamber ensembles, Triptych Musica, and the West End Brass Quintet.

In addition to performing, Anneka is the Adjunct Horn teacher at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities and the Education and Community Programs Manager for the Greenville Symphony. Anneka is proud to have studied with Sylvia Alimena in high school, Myron Bloom and Jerome Ashby at the Curtis Institute of Music where she received her Bachelor of Music, and William Purvis when studying for her Master’s from the Yale School of Music.
