Grew up in China, Xiaoli joined professional Orchestra at age 13, after she graduate from Shenyang music conservatory, She worked in Beijing as member of the Central philharmonic Orchestra of China. She come to the United States in 1988 for her masters degree in music performance.  She has performed with San Diego chamber, Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Charlotte Symphony, Savannah Symphony others in the area. She and her husband joined Greenville Symphony in 1994. She enjoys playing tennis and travel with her family.
