The Bob Jones University Chorale is known for its tonal beauty and dramatic expressivity. Comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from across the university’s degree programs, the Chorale tours regularly and maintains a full performing schedule of concerts, oratorio and opera productions, and provides music for campus services and events. In 2023, the Chorale was selected to compete in the 6th International Baltic Sea Choir Competition in Jūrmala, Latvia, and in 2022 performed at the fall conference for the South Carolina chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association. In 2017 the Chorale made its Chicago Orchestra Hall debut, performing Dan Forrest’s magnificent Jubilate Deo with the BJU Symphony Orchestra under the baton of former Chorale director Warren Cook, and served as the United States representative at the World Choral Festival in Seoul, South Korea. In its fourth year under the direction of Andrew Huish, the Chorale continues a long tradition of delighting audiences with excellence in choral artistry.
