DAVID BURNHAM

David Burnham was most recently seen on Broadway in the smash hit Wicked, playing the role of Fiyero—a character he helped develop in the show's original workshops. He is an original Broadway cast member of The Light in the Piazza, appearing in both the Tony Awards broadcast and the PBS special Live From Lincoln Center. For his portrayal of Fabrizio in the national tour of The Light in the Piazza, David received both the prestigious Helen Hayes Award and the Garland Award for Best Actor.

He first earned critical acclaim when, following a two-year nationwide search, he was selected to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a performance that earned him a Dramalogue Award. He later toured the country in another Andrew Lloyd Webber hit, Jesus Christ Superstar, playing Peter opposite Ted Neeley. In New York, he starred in the original Off-Broadway cast of The Best Is Yet to Come – The Music of Cy Coleman. In Las Vegas, he headlined the production Showstoppers at the Wynn Resort.

David’s film credits include providing the singing voice of the Prince in the Warner Bros. animated feature The King and I, as well as vocals on the soundtracks for Geppetto, Disney’s Home on the Range, and Comedy Central’s South Park.

A sought-after concert performer, David appears regularly with symphony orchestras across the U.S. and abroad. His solo concert has been enjoyed by audiences throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has released two solo albums: his self-titled debut and One Day.
