Jackson Waldhoff is a bassist from Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Raised in Kyoto, Japan, he moved to Hawai‘i in 2010. He first picked up the guitar and bass as a way to make friends while learning English. In 2018, he graduated from audio engineering school and began working with Jake Shimabukuro as an audio engineer on projects including Trio, Jake & Friends, and a collaboration with Alan Parsons. That same year, Waldhoff joined Shimabukuro on tour, and together they continue to perform worldwide.
