Daynelis Munoz (December 21-24)

Daynelis Munoz, born in Cuba, studied classical ballet for eight years. She graduated in 2005 as a professional classical dancer and ballet instructor. Daynelis has danced with Cuban National Ballet, Mexico Ballet, and Tulsa Ballet; and has appeared on stages in Spain, France, Colombia, Mexico, among other countries. The highlight of her career was becoming a principal dancer and dancing leading roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Infra, Serenade, and La Bayader. She has danced pieces by internationally renowned choreographers, including John Cranko, Edwaard Liang, Marcello Angelini, George Balanchine, Wayne McGregor, Ma Cong, and Alicia Alonso. Daynelis has participated in various international ballet competition in Cuba and Mexico, winning the gold medal at Youth America Grand Prix. Daynelis has been a member of the jury at dance competitions, International Dance Meeting, and Congresses of Spectacles. She is currently a principal guest artist and ballet instructor and has participated in several galas, master classes, and ballet productions around the world.
