Piaf! The Show stars Nathalie Lermitte, a French performer considered “Édith Piaf’s legitimate musical heiress.” Singing has always been her true vocation; she began performing at just six years old. On her eighteenth birthday, she released her first album, Tu es tout ce que j’aime, a two-single release that sold over 400,000 copies.
The year 1989 marked Lermitte’s debut in musical theatre when she played the role of Cristal in Starmania. She performed the role for three years at the Théâtre Marigny in Paris before embarking on a national tour that concluded in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In 1995, Lermitte opened for Michel Leeb at the Olympia with Herbert Léonard. She went on to perform a succession of roles in musical productions, often portraying Édith Piaf.
From 2009 to 2012, Lermitte was a music columnist on the popular French television program Chabada. In 2015, she began performing as the Queen in the Molière Award-nominated play La Petite Fille aux Allumettes (The Little Match Girl), directed by David Rozen.
Since 2018, Nathalie Lermitte has been part of the extended world tour of Piaf! The Show, continuing to share Piaf’s legacy with audiences around the globe.
