Chris Fishman - Piano and Keyboard

Chris Fishman is a multidisciplinary musician and artist from Los Angeles. He currently collaborates and performs with artists including Pat Metheny, Flying Lotus, Louis Cole, and Mac DeMarco.

Chris started playing drums and piano at age four, and by seven he was performing throughout Southern California. Encouraged by his mentors at Inglewood’s Just Lovin’ Music Studios, he developed a strong interest in jazz. His musical versatility has led to collaborations with artists across a wide variety of genres.

Chris performs in Pat Metheny’s Side-Eye, contributing his voice as a keyboardist. He also appears throughout the score to Netflix’s Yasuke (2021), working alongside Thundercat under the musical direction of Flying Lotus. With Louis Cole, he performs in a multi-instrumentalist trio featuring drummer Nate Wood. Among his many collaborators, Chris has worked extensively with his longtime friend Daryl Johns, co-producing Daryl’s debut album. The two continue to write and produce music together frequently.

In 2026, Chris will release his debut solo record, featuring an array of esteemed collaborators from throughout his musical journey.
