RYAN SHERK
Dancer

Born and raised in St.Catharines, Ontario, Ryan began dancing at the age of five. He is currently a student of The Juilliard School in New York City, under the direction of Melissa Toogood, as part of their BFA Dance Program in the Class of 2027. During his time at Juilliard, he has performed in works by William Forsythe, Alvin Ailey, Lauren Lovette, Jamar Roberts, My’kal Stromile, and Jenn Freeman. Ryan has trained in prestigious programs with Ballet BC, Ballets Jazz Montréal, and also Orsolina 28 in Italy where he has studied the repertoire of Crystal Pite, Marco Goecke, and also worked closely with Johan Inger and Medhi Walerski. Ryan is a New York City Dance Alliance Foundation Scholar, led by Joe Lanteri, and performed in the organization’s ‘Destiny Rising Concert ’ at The Joyce Theater. Other performance credits include Buglisi Dance Theatre’s (Project 9/11) Memorial Performance in Lincoln Center Plaza, and the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony 2026. Ryan is grateful and excited to be joining the Company as a Guest Artist this Fall, while continuing his studies at The Juilliard School through their Curricular Practical Training program
