SIMON PLANT (Dancer) was born in Sydney, Australia and has been dancing since he was seven. He trained at The Australian Ballet School on scholarship courtesy of The Pratt Foundation. In 2013, he received his graduate diploma in classical ballet and the Murphy Award for Excellence in Contemporary Dance. He joined the Australian Ballet in 2014 where he spent two years performing works by Wayne McGregor, Kenneth MacMillian, Simon Dow, Peter Wright, Stanton Welch, and Jiří Kylián, and then went on to work for Sydney Dance Company in 2016. Simon is also a writer and has had several short stories published in various anthologies and magazines. This is Simon’s fifth season with Complexions. IG @mrplantofficial
