Ava Chatterson began dancing in her hometown of Flint, MI, at the Flint School of the Performing Arts. She continued her studies at Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance with an outside field in legal studies. Ava completed her training at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s graduate program before joining Sacramento Ballet as a company member in 2010. Ava has performed with Texture Contemporary Ballet, Oakland Ballet, Capital Dance Project, and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. This is her second year with NCI.
