Cameron Pelton was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his training in 2011 through the Estelle Dennis Scholarship at Peabody Conservatory and later attended the Baltimore School for the Arts. Pelton attended Indiana University for three years, where he took courses in ballet, music, and kinesiology, and joined Oregon Ballet Theatre as an apprentice in 2021. He has had the pleasure of performing many ballets, including some of his favorites, Antony Tudor’s Dark Elegies, Jerome Robbins’ Spring, and George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante.
